About 'The Mendoza, Pena and de la Garza Families'
This family tree is dedicated to the Mendoza and Pena families and the hundreds of other families we descend from and are related to.
This tree begins with the present and includes the Pena and Abrego families on my maternal grandfather's line and some limited information on the Garza family from my maternal grandmother's line. These families thrived in Encino and Premont Texas.
In addition, this tree contains information on my father's paternal and maternal lines including the Mendoza and de la Garza families that branched from Camargo, Tamaulipas, Mexico and moved to Falfurrias, Los Olmos and the surrounding area.
As of now, I have determined that three de la Garza Falcon line connections exist on my father's side through his mother and father through Capt.Pedro de la Garza, Capt. Blas Maria de la Garza Falcon and Capt. Alonso de Trevino de la Garza; sons of Marcos Alonso de la Garza y Arcon and Juana de Trevino Quintanilla.
I am continually adding names, dates and other information, but it will take some time to build a comprehensive database. I have traced several individual lines and at times have entered incomplete information that must be completed. Please check updates as I usually add daily. If you have any information or names to contribute, have stories, or would like to make connections please contact me.
